Sporting equipment, camping gear, audio-video equipment and monitors are all safely and stored easily in the 1560 Pelican case with extendable handle. Stainless steel pins are used for hinges and handles and it also comes comes with stainless steel ball bearing wheels that last longer and ride smoother. For easy carrying, the case has one front and one side folding handle with no-slip overmolded cushion grips.

Pelican Cases are made with Copolymer Polypropylene, using an open cell core and solid wall construction, which produces a stronger and lighter product. And you know it’s a Pelican case by the distinctive “twin-ribbed” top surface.

The new Double-throw latches are smarter and easier to open; the classic “C”clamp design with a secondary movement works like a pry bar to start the release and offers plenty of leverage to open with a light pull.

Stainless steel reinforced padlock protectors provide added strength and extra security against cutting and theft.

Each Pelican case is watertight with a tongue-and groove fit with a polymer o-ring acting as a waterproof seal. Also, the new Automatic Pressure Equalization Valve releases built-up air pressure while keeping water molecules out, resulting in a watertight case that is even easier to open. Splash it, drop it in the river. No problem. Contents are safe and dry.
